Renowned singer Alexander Bagonza, popularly known as A Pass, found himself embroiled in a social media storm after a poster surfaced, falsely listing him as a performer at President Museveni’s welcome event in Mitooma district.
The inclusion of A Pass on the lineup stirred criticism, particularly from supporters of his friend and political rival, Robert Kyagulanyi.
The controversial poster, organized by Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa and his father, showcased several music industry icons like Bebe Cool, Jose Chameleone, and Eddy Kenzo alongside Bagonza.

A Pass clarified that he had no prior knowledge of the poster until its emergence on social media. Contrary to the assumptions, he emphasized that he had not entered into any agreements to perform at the event in question.
