Kenya Airways has announced the closure of its booking offices in the western city of Kisumu and South Africa’s Johannesburg due to the planned anti government protests in both countries.
Following a statement issued by the Kenya Airways management they said the booking offices would resume on Tuesday.
“ The safety and well-being of our employees and customers are our highest priority .”KQ stated.
However this move doesn’t affect the operations of other booking offices within the airports of the mentioned cities.

However in South Africa the opposition leader Julius Malema is mobilizing a national shutdown to push for the resignation of South Africa president Cyril Ramaphosa following a crisis in the energy sector.
security has been been beefed across South Africa to help police maintain law and order in the country during the protests.
In addition Kenya’s police issued a statement citing that protests were illegal though Mr Odinga vowed that the plan has to move on.
